Crichton Castle Pic

Crichton Castle is an impressive late medieval castle in southeast Scotland, not far from Edinburgh.

The tower house on the east side of courtyard is oldest part of the castle, built in the late 14th century. In the mid 1400s the castle got its present form when a great hall, gatehouse, and tower were added around a new courtyard. The castle was renovated in the late 1500s to convert the castle into a stately residence with Italian Rennaissance influences.

My reconstruction of Crichton Castle is 25 inches long, 22 1/2 inches wide (80 x 72 studs) and is about 21 inches high.
