Grosmont Castle was built in the 12th Century with additions made in the 13th. The Castle consists of a great hall with a small bailey surrounded by half-round towers and residential buildings. The entrance is through the tower next to the hall.
Grosmont Castle is located in Monmouthshire near the Welsh border and was one of three castles built to control the border region between England and South Wales.
My reconstruction of Grosmont Castle is 35 x 30 inches (112 x 96 studs) and is about 18 inches high.
