Harlech Castle Title Graphic

Harlech Castle is located in northern Wales and was built by the famous castle architect Master James of St. George between 1283 and 1290. The castle is a concentric design situated atop a rocky outcropping with its back to the sea.

The inner ward is surrounded by domestic buildings built against the curtain wall. A massive gatehouse dominates the structure and contains a chapel, a hall and living quarters in addition to the usual defensive features.

My reconstruction of Harlech Castle is 35x30 inches (112x96 studs) and stands 2 feet high. The curtain walls are shown in black because, frankly, I didn't have enough grey bricks!
