Sooneck Castle Title Pic

Sooneck Castle is located on a mountain at the edge of the Soon Forest along the Rhine River in western Germany. Most of the structure was probably built in the 13th Century and was restored in the 19th Century.

The castle features a square tower keep in the northwest corner, surrounded by a series of walled courtyards stepping down the moutainside toward the river. The drawbridge was probably added during restoration in the 19th Century.

My reconstruction of Sooneck Castle is 25 x 27 1/2 inches (80 x 88 studs) and is about 36 inches high.
